Glen’s passion for food certainly comes from his parents, who for many years owned catering business Ludovic. After completing his culinary training at Hotelschool Ter Duinen, Glen worked at several Michelin starred restaurants such as Restaurant Seagrill **(Belgium), Restaurant Scholteshof ** (Belgium), Restaurant La Pyramide ** (France) and Restaurant Moulin de Mougins ** (France).

Being equally passioned about wine as food, Glen decided to follow a training to be a sommelier. It paid off: in 2002/2003 Glen made it to the finals of Best Sommelier of Belgium.

At Humphrey [CHEZ PIAS], Glen is able to combine his passion for food and spirits with his Filipino roots to take his guests on a culinary trip.

IT’S ALL ABOUT CREATING A MEMORY, A MOMENTUM

Glen and his wife Julie share the same interest for good food. While Glen works at Humphrey [CHEZ PIAS]’s kitchen, Julie takes care of Humphrey [CHEZ PIAS]’s vegetable garden near Mechelen. In that way, practically every vegetable served at the restaurant, is home grown and 100% natural.

“ Like Glen, I found it super important to know that we serve our costumers only the verry best. “
