Alessandro Viola

The company consists of 7 hectares of vineyard cultivated with Grillo, N. D’avola, Nerello Mascalese and Cataratto grapes.
Most of the vineyards are located in the Pietra Rinosa district, in the Alcamese hinterland. The remaining part is on Mount Bonifato, a mountain that dominates the city of Alcamo.

The owner, being a graduate in viticulture and oenology himself, takes care of all the phases in the process, from the agricultural management of the vineyard to the winemaking of grapes.

The company’s philosophy is very simple, making wine using only one ingredient: the grapes. This is not due purely to ethical reasons but due to the conviction that making natural wine is not only possible, but also better.

Alessandro Viola has the same approach in agriculture, which is to make the land independent of fertilizers and herbicides by relying on the natural fertility of the soil so it is capable of renewing itself. The one condition is that mankind does not disturb the equilibrium.

The wines they produce are:

1. Blanc de Blancs pas dosé metodo classic (catarratto 100%)

2. Note di Bianco (grillo 100%)

3. Sinfonia di Grillo (grillo 100% skin maceration)

4. Le Mie Origini (catarratto 100%)

5. Note di Rosso (nero d’avola, syrah , nerello mascalese)

6. Sinfonia di Rosso (nerello mascalese 100%)

7. Vendemmia Tardiva 50 gradi all’ombra (grillo 100%)
